Valencia Basket has made a significant decision by parting ways with Andreu Casadevall, who has served as the youth director for nearly nine seasons. The 'taronja' club announced that Biel Román will take over the role previously held by Casadevall, who directed the men's youth program at Valencia Basket since 2017. Román, at 28 years old, comes with experience from his playing career with basketball teams in Mallorca, Salamanca, and Zamora, as well as in the Danish league. This transition marks a new chapter for Valencia Basket's youth program, which aims to continue developing talent for the future. Casadevall, who had a notable tenure at Casademont Zaragoza before joining Valencia, leaves a significant legacy at the club. During his time in Zaragoza, he recorded 27 wins and 33 losses in league and continental competitions. The arrival of Biel Román represents a new era, and the club is confident that his leadership will further strengthen the youth program.
